Dressed as a chicken, a member of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) protests outside a Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) branch in Omonia Sq in central Athens against the alleged mistreatment and torture of chickens slaughtered on KFC farms. KFC breeds and slaughters more than 700 million chickens every year, according to PETA.
