OA and OSE staff take grievances to the street

A woman watches a protest by employees of Olympic Airlines (OA) and the Hellenic Railways Organization (OSE) outside the Transport Ministry in Athens yesterday. The demonstration was marred by violence as some protesters vented their frustration at plans to restructure the debt-ridden organizations. OA staff object to plans to privatize the state carrier which will involve their transfer to state sector jobs they say they are not trained for.
