Demonstrators in an Athens peace rally...

ANA

Demonstrators in an Athens peace rally yesterday carry a banner calling for the release of November 17 terrorist suspect Yiannis Serifis, in pre-trial custody since Sunday. The 8,000-strong evening protest against impending war in Iraq ended at the US Embassy, where marchers briefly clashed with riot police. A similar march was held in Thessaloniki.
