An octopus hangs above a fish stall in Athens’s Varvakeio Market yesterday. Prefectural officials confiscated 565 kilos of frozen shrimp, octopus, cuttlefish and squid yesterday following inspections at the market. Authorities are conducting more market inspections due to high consumer demand for fish and other produce ahead of the holiday weekend.
