Demonstrators unfurl two large flags outside the American Embassy in central Athens on Saturday as they take part in an anti-war demonstration. About 1,000 people marched through Athens denouncing the actions of Israel and the United States in the Middle East. The march, organized by Stop the War alliance, anti-globalization groups and trade unions, followed another march earlier in the day by some 500 protesters organized by the Greek branch of the European Social Forum and leftist groups.
