Georgian President...

Orestis Panayiotou/ANA

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili reviews a Greek honor guard upon his arrival yesterday in Athens where he had talks with his Greek counterpart Karolos Papoulias. Papoulias described as ‘exceptionally interesting and constructive’ his talks with Saakashvili, who referred to their countries’ ‘age-old historic ties.’ Greece reiterated its support for Georgia’s course toward membership in NATO and the European Union.
