Refuge from the heat...

ALEXANDROS BELTES/ANA

Tourists find refuge from the heat in central Athens yesterday by lying in the shade of trees at the National Gardens. The temperature reached 39C (102F) in the capital and is expected to top 40C (104F) in some parts of Greece today. Electricity officials have again asked consumers to limit their use of electricity between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
