ANTONIS PASVANTIS/EUROKINISSI

Employment Minister Fani Palli-Petralia is seen leaving Maximos Mansion after a meeting with Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis yesterday. Petralia said that on Monday she will begin meetings with unions and business groups to discuss pension reforms in the hope of arriving at changes that will have ‘the broadest possible social consensus.’ Petralia is expected to unveil next month the government’s revised proposals for pension reforms after considerable opposition to initial suggestions.
