A firefighter attempts to extinguish a fire that started on a truck that was traveling on the Athens-Patras national road yesterday. The truck, which was carrying paper, caught fire near Ancient Corinth and was completely destroyed. Authorities were forced to close all the highway’s lanes in both directions for safety reasons, which caused long tailbacks.
