A motorist prepares...

ANA

A motorist prepares to pay a parking fine at the Municipality of Athens yesterday. Drivers have until October 15 to pay fines, following the Interior Ministry’s decision to extend yesterday’s deadline in reaction to massive queues at municipal offices over the last few days. But fines will have to be paid from Tuesday as municipal offices will be closed on Monday while staff participate in a 24-hour strike.
