Children and their parents line up outside a primary school in Thessaloniki yesterday as they wait to hear an address by PASOK leader George Papandreou in the Neapolis district. Papandreou headed to the northern port city after Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis spent the weekend there promoting infrastructure projects completed in the area under the conservative government during the past three years in what many regard as a prelude to an election campaign.
