Partly flooded...

EUROKINISI

A car splashes through a partly flooded road in Thessaloniki yesterday after bad weather hit the northern Greek city, prompting authorities to shut down the airport due to strong winds. Thessaloniki port authorities also instructed small boat operators to stay out of the bad weather and anchor their crafts safely. Heavy rain also hit the area of Corinth, in the Peloponnese, as Athenians returned to the capital after the weekend. Weather experts said that they expect conditions to start improving as of this afternoon.
