Thessaloniki International Trade Fair opens at the Helexpo fairground.

Paralympic Torch relay visits the regions of Koropi, Kalyvia, Saronida, Palaia Fokaia, Keratea and Lavreotiki.

Communist-led PAME labor movement holds demonstration at 6 p.m. at the Eleftherios Venizelos statue in Thessaloniki in view of the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair. At 8.30 p.m. they will rally on the Helexpo fairground, where Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis will be presenting the government’s financial policy.
