Bathers enjoy the sun after a cold dip on a beach in southern Athens yesterday. But weather problems tested citizens’ patience elsewhere in the country. Dense fog early yesterday led to outbound flights being canceled at Athens and Thessaloniki airports. Meanwhile, Sunday’s heavy rain caused flooding and road problems in western Greece. Several landslides were reported and, in one case, a motorist was slightly injured when a rock fell on his car.
