Attica firemen protest...

ANA

Attica firemen protest outside the headquarters of the ruling PASOK party in central Athens yesterday demanding that the government acknowledge the danger and health hazards inherent in their profession. The Attica firemen's union called for health and safety measures to protect firemen working round the clock in adverse conditions. The union is also supporting firemen injured during rescue attempts of people blocked in their homes during January's heavy snowfall.
