Recycling programs...

ANA

Cans are bundled at the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation (HERRCO) that runs recycling programs across the country. According to recent surveys, Greeks have become more conscious of recycling programs with the percentage of those who are ‘very concerned’ about the environment rising to 43 percent from 31 percent in recent years. Public surveys also indicate a growing shift toward personal responsibility on environmental issues and an increasing realization of the role of education.
