The Stavros Niarchos...

ANA

The Stavros Niarchos, a 60-meter brig carrying 48 young trainee sailors of various nationalities, including nine Greeks, sailed into the port of Piraeus yesterday afternoon from Malta after two weeks at sea. The Stavros Niarchos belongs to the Sail Training Association, a charity dedicated to the personal development of young people through experience on tall ships. Merchant Marine Minister Giorgos Anomeritis attended a welcoming ceremony for the trainee crew — aged 16-24.
