A large fire...


ANA

A large fire that raged for some 14 hours through a forest on the northern peninsula of Halkidiki was extinguished yesterday, after coming alarmingly close to the village of Neos Marmaras. The blaze started in a local rubbish dump. All major forest fires that broke out on Monday were under control yesterday, after winds dropped.
