Dairy farmers from northern Greece protested in Thessaloniki yesterday against the low milk prices available on the market. The producers gathered in front of the grounds of the Thessaloniki Trade Fair, where the ‘Zootechnia’ 2007 farming exhibition is set to start, and spilt large containers of milk to raise awareness of problems in the sector.
