Scuffles broke out yesterday as street market traders staged a demonstration outside Thessaloniki City Hall protesting plans to move the Rotonda district’s open air market to the town’s western outskirts. Traders threatened to block the Egnatia Highway if police try to stop them from selling their wares in Rotonda today.
