Overkill: A woman holds aloft a placard asserting that animals are killed in Greece ‘for fun,’ during a demonstration by animal welfare groups outside the House of Parliament yesterday. Dozens of people gathered to protest the extermination, by poisoning, of dozens of stray dogs and cats in the National Gardens and the environs of Zappeion Hall over the New Year holidays.
