PAVLOS MAKRIDIS/ANA

Minor scuffles broke out between employees of the Fertilizers and Chemical Products company and riot police in Thessaloniki yesterday as workers demonstrated against the company’s recent shutdown. Workers’ representatives are expected to meet in Athens today with the head of the prime minister’s office, Yiannis Angelou, and Finance Ministry officials to discuss the possible reopening of the company.
