PETROS GIANNAKOURIS/AP

Protesters march in central Athens on Saturday in a demonstration, organized by the Communist-affiliated union PAME, against the government’s economic polices. Some 20,000 workers and students are estimated to have taken part. They demanded the introduction of a 35-hour workweek and a minimum wage of 1,300 euros.
