Former Prime Minister Costas Simitis gets up to deliver a speech yesterday at an event in Athens organized by think tank OPEK. During his speech, Simitis made a number of comments seen to be critical of current developments in his party, PASOK. ‘A party in opposition has to get over the stage at which its actions consist solely in commenting on the government’s moves,’ he said.
