A man was shot dead yesterday afternoon in his car in Aegaleo, western Athens. The 41-year-old was killed soon after getting into the vehicle with his wife, who was taken to the hospital in critical condition but reported to be stable last night. Police said two gunmen fired four or five shots in the suspected contract killing.
