Athens Polytechnic...

ANA

A child lays a flower in front of Athens Polytechnic to commemorate a student uprising that was bloodily suppressed by Greece’s military junta in 1973, ahead of the annual commemorative march tomorrow. The polytechnic’s dean Costas Mountzouris said the building would be well guarded, adding that the principle of university immunity (prohibiting police entry) would be respected. Dozens of citizens visited the site yesterday to commemorate the event.
