A traffic policeman directs motorists away from a large hole in the surface of coastal Poseidonos Avenue yesterday. According to the Environment and Public Works Ministry, the hole was caused by the collapse of a manhole. A lane was subsequently closed off on the Piraeus-bound side of the road, causing traffic chaos for several hours.
