Archbishop Christodoulos speaks to Prime Minister...

Goulielmos Antoniou/Eurokinissi

Archbishop Christodoulos speaks to Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis who visited the cleric at his private residence yesterday following reports of a slight deterioration in his health. Members of the Holy Synod, who had visited the archbishop earlier, described him as ‘optimistic and talkative’ and eager for news about the Synod’s latest session. On Thursday, Christodoulos, 68, had a hospital checkup amid reports that he has suffered side effects from his cancer therapy.
