Syrian President Bashar Al Assad speaks with Foreign Minister George Papandreou as he signs the Olympic Truce yesterday. Twenty-seven heads of state or government and many more ministers have signed the appeal for an end to all hostilities during the Athens Games. Assad met with PM Costas Simitis and the leaders of all parties in Parliament yesterday.
