A cart driver leads his horse as residents of the central Athens district of Thiseion protest yesterday on the Apostolou Pavlou pedestrian street, under the Acropolis, at the planned construction of a Public Power Corporation (PPC) substation in the archaeological site of the Pnyx. PPC insists the structure will be as small and unobtrusive as possible.
