Shoppers are reflected...

Alexandros Beltes/ANA

Shoppers are reflected in the window of a store in central Athens yesterday, the first day of the summer sales. The sales will last until the end of August but thousands of shoppers hit the streets yesterday to snap up the best bargains. Clothing prices will be cut by 20 and 50 percent and shoe prices by up to 30 percent. The consumer group INKA has advised shoppers to be wary of large discounts and ask for receipts.
