MARGARITA KIAOU/ANA

Education Minister Evripidis Stylianidis (r) watches members of the Pedagogical Institute being sworn in yesterday. Stylianidis wrote to Britain’s Higher Education Minister Bill Rammell and European Education Commissioner Jan Figel to complain about the purchase of Westminster College in England and its incorporation into FYROM’s European University Republic of Macedonia (EURM), which means that the faculties will bear names such as ‘St Nicholas,’ ‘Alexander the Macedonian’ and ‘Philip II.’
