Traffic police help firemen remove the battered wreck of a car that crashed yesterday on the national road from Corinth to Athens, killing an elderly woman. Tens of thousands of Athenian holidaymakers started to stream back to the capital yesterday after the passing of Friday's feast of the Dormition of the Virgin, the traditional peak of the summer holidays.
