Athens 2004...


Athens 2004 officials yesterday presented the mascot for next September’s Paralympic Games for physically disabled athletes. Together with Proteus, a rainbow-colored seahorse (l) named after an ancient shape-changing water divinity, officials unveiled the design for the Paralympic medals, which carry inscriptions in Greek and Braille.
