Pupils at a school complex near central Athens gather at the gates during the second day of a lockout, just one of dozens in the capital. Up to 300 schools in Greece have been shut down by pupils protesting a range of issues, mainly poor facilities. A prosecutor in Thessaloniki, Dimitris Papageorgiou, yesterday sent a letter to pupils reminding them that the lockouts are against the law, while also informing parents that they could face charges.
