Protesters rage against Israel and the US

A demonstrator holds a burning image of outgoing US President George W. Bush outside the Israeli Embassy in Athens on Saturday, during a protest by Palestinians living in Greece and pro-Palestine supporters, including several unions and anti-war groups. Similar demonstrations were held in other parts of Greece, including Trikala and Tripoli. The Greek government said yesterday that it was sending a new shipment of aid, by sea, to Gaza.
