Olympic employees scuffle with police

ORESTIS PANAGIOTOU/ANA

Several hundred Olympic Airlines employees protested in front of the carrier’s offices on Syngrou Avenue yesterday in opposition to the government’s plans to privatize the company. Traffic on Syngrou was also brought to a halt from time to time as the demonstrators spilled onto the street. The European Commission cleared the sell-off this week.
