Argentina ends Greece’s dreams of a medal

Basketball player Panayiotis Vassilopoulos holds his head after Greece lost 80-78 to Argentina in the men’s quarterfinals of the Beijing Olympics. Its defeat in the tense game means Greece’s hopes of winning a medal came to an end. Argentina, which knocked Greece out at the same stage at the Athens Olympics, will face the USA in the semifinal.
