Vassilis Stefanakos...

ALEXANDROS BELTES/ANA

Until recently Greece’s most wanted criminal, Vassilis Stefanakos, is escorted yesterday to an Athens court complex where he was sentenced to a further four years and three months in jail. Stefanakos, 47, was arrested on Saturday after spending seven years on the run. He had already been sentenced to more than 14 years in jail. A court found Stefanakos guilty of illegal weapon possession and dealing drugs. Stefanakos ran a large extortion and drug ring. A relative of Stefanakos, also arrested on Saturday, was found guilty of possessing illegal weapons.
