Driver hid camera in pants to cheat on test

A man who tried to cheat on the written part of his driving test exam with the help of a tiny camera which was hidden in his underwear has been arrested, police said yesterday as they sought the man’s accomplice.

The unnamed suspect was caught yesterday morning as he entered the Transport Ministry building in Holargos, northeastern Athens, to sit his exam.

Police officers, who were acting on a tip-off, searched the man and found a small hidden camera in his underpants.

It appears that the suspect, whose initials were given as S.E., was going to use the camera to relay shots of the questions to an accomplice who would then inform the learner driver of the correct answers. It was not clear if this was going to be done via an earpiece or some other method.
