The fourth and final 100,000-ton, 60-meter support for a bridge connecting Rio and Antirio — and, thus, the western mainland and the Peloponnese — was yesterday towed into position off the coast of Rio in the Peloponnese. The 2.5-kilometer bridge is due for completion in 2004.
