Pensioners wait outside...

Pensioners wait outside a branch of the National Bank of Greece on Panepistimiou Street in central Athens yesterday. It was one of 72 branches that opened especially to pay out pension and unemployment benefits, despite bank workers being on strike for a third week. They are protesting the government's pension reforms bill. Finance Minister Giorgos Alogoskoufis yesterday admitted some minor changes to the bill could be made.
