EUROKINISSI

A crowd gathered in the northern Athens suburb of Nea Philadelphia yesterday to hear a speech by Communist Party (KKE) leader Aleka Papariga. KKE revealed its list of candidates, which contained a number of new names, for next month’s elections. The party said that four in 10 of the candidates would be standing for the first time.
