Prime Minister Costas Karamanlis met with military chiefs and senior Defense Ministry officials at the ministry’s headquarters in Athens yesterday. Government sources said that Karamanlis’s two-and-a-half-hour visit to the military headquarters is seen as a sign of support of the ministry’s political and military leaders.
