V. PAPADOPOULOS/EUROKINISSI

PASOK leader George Papandreou waves to journalists as he leaves KAT Hospital in northern Athens yesterday. Papandreou had been undergoing treatment at the hospital since Sunday, when he fell off his bicycle and suffered a minor spinal fracture and a broken finger. He thanked well-wishers for their support as he left the hospital. Papandreou is expected to spend the next few days resting at home before resuming his duties as party leader after the Easter break.
