Police hold crowds of cheering fans...

ALEXANDROS BELTES/ANA

Police hold crowds of cheering fans at bay outside Athens Airport yesterday as Eurovision Song Contest winner Helena Paparizou (in coach) returned from her victory in Kiev on Saturday night to a hero’s welcome. State broadcaster ERT spent over 700,000 euros in public funds on the Greek entry, but claims to have offset that with revenues of over 1.3 million.
