French Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin (r) welcomes his Greek counterpart Costas Karamanlis outside the Hotel Matignon in Paris yesterday. Karamanlis briefed Villepin about the jet fighter collision over the Aegean on Tuesday, taking the opportunity to stress the need for Ankara to fulfill its commitments to the European Union. The two leaders also discussed EU enlargement and ongoing negotiations to resolve the final status of Kosovo.
