EUROKINISSI

Two women carrying umbrellas for protection from the sun pass each other on a street in Thessaloniki yesterday. After a three-day heat wave, the temperature is expected to drop slightly today. It has been forecast to reach 37 Celsius (99 Fahrenheit) in Thessaloniki and 36C (97F) in Athens. Rain is expected in northern Greece on Monday.
