Sprinter Katerina Thanou signs autographs for young fans at the Peace and Friendship Stadium in Athens on Saturday. Thanou won the 60-meter sprint at the Athina 2007 indoor meeting. This was the former World and European Indoor champion's first appearance at an international event since making a comeback following her ban in 2004 for failing to attend a doping test, along with training partner Costas Kenteris, on the eve of the Athens Olympics. Thanou has qualified for the European Indoor Athletic Championships next weekend in England.
