They continued their protests...

SIMELA PANTZARTZI/ANA

Students are seen through a ripped banner in front of Athens University yesterday as they continued their protests against the government’s reforms. Education Minister Marietta Giannakou said that students and university teachers have a duty to end their protests. More than 300 university departments have been shut down by protesting students. Teachers have been staging work stoppages and public rallies for the last two months. Giannakou met with university rectors on the sidelines of a presidential banquet yesterday. The rectors asked her to allow more time for the reforms bill to be debated.
